We are excited to welcome all dancers ages 20 and older an opportunity to debut their new peices in our annual comtemporary showcase.

Deadline for the application is Wednesday October 28th at 5pm

Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical Jazz, Modern, Contact Improv, Performance Art, & Film

Previously performed pieces are not eligible for NEW WORKS.
Pieces must be 3/4 completed and no longer than 10 minutes

Performers must be at least 17 years of age

Choreographers must be at least 20 years of age

We are now accepting applications for our

15th Annual Dance and Music festival

to be held on September 12th 2009.

We are looking for diverse groups to show case the rich culture that is widely represented in Santa Barbara County. All professional groups will be considered.

Please fill out an application here and turn in by August 1st.

If you have not performed for us before, please also send a DVD of One Piece of your current work. You must submit a DVD for consideration for the event.

We are thrilled to present Santa Barbara’s official Dance Day on April 25th!

This Saturday between 1-4 pm  local dancers will be dazzling downtown with short performances taking place anywhere you look. The best part? IT’S ALL FREE!

Dancers of all styles and flavors will be making State Street come alive starting with Argentine Tango outside Cafe Buenos Aires and continuing all the way down to Hip-Hop at De La Guerra Plaza

You might happen upon a Modern dance piece by Erin Martinez on the steps of the Museum of Art….you may stop and enjoy some Flamenco in front of La Arcada…you might find yourself stopping to watch some ballet right outside Saks 5th Avenue!

Consider yourself the lucky recipient of FREE tickets to an incredible dance ensemble performance with all the best dancers Santa Barbara has to offer.
